Mr. Bhagat Patil– elder son of Late Shri Rajaram Bapu Patil who founded Rajaram
Bapu Group of Companies (a conglomerate from Sangli – Kolhapur region of Maharashtra),
is the main driving force behind some of the major businesses of the group pertaining
to Education, Oil / Solvent Extraction, Commodity Trading and F&B. Right from start
of his career, Mr. Patil had aspired to set up a chain of fine dine restaurants
across Mumbai. Starting off with one outlet way back in 1986 at Andheri(W), he has
set up a fine example of the fine dine experience and revolutionized the food and
beverage industry at a time when the western suburbs had never witnessed the fine
dine concept amongst the stand-alone restaurants. It is under his leadership that
Garden Court Restaurant has now grown into a GCR Group comprising a total of five
outlets across Mumbai & Navi Mumbai. Today the GCR group stands tall with the success
of its restaurants based on innovation and a strong emphasis on quality and authenticity
of Indian & Mughlai cuisine and a very high degree of customer service rendered
by its sales team.
Mr. Bhagat Patil, a technocrat academically and an industrialist
of repute, strongly believes in creating a unique corporate culture. He has thus
